Greetings!  As we celebrate 20 years of serving small Christian communities, we have exciting plans to strengthen Buena Vista. First, we have changed our name to Small Christian Community Connection so the core of our work is more easily recognizable by all. 

Second, within the next six months we plan to reshape our website, so it truly links small Christian community members with each other.  Not only will we provide expanded resources for you on the website, the second phase will include web site forums so members can share questions and ideas with each other.  We know there are millions of people who have experience in small Christian communities and we are very excited about creating a place for group members to share wisdom, experiences, materials and encouragement with each other.  These forums will benefit even those without web access, as we will distill the best of this shared wisdom to include in Connect and in the reproducible resources.  We will let you know when these forums are up and running.

Third, we have an expanded vision and structure for membership. In order to serve all who are members of small Christian communities, we have reduced the price of our Basic Membership to $20.  Of course, our costs have not declined. So we have also created membership levels:  $40 - Galatians 5 Club, $75 - Micah 6 Club, and $200 - Matthew 25 Club.

While the only additional tangible benefit from these membership clubs is recognition at the Convocation, we ask to you reflect on the blessings God has bestowed on you and choose your level accordingly. We count on your help to continue supporting small Christian communities and their important work across the country and beyond. We greatly need any additional financial support you can give us at this time to help us build our new vision for Small Christian Community Connection.

Fourth, we would like to expand our membership and you—who understand the power of small Christian communities—are our best resource. We want you to talk to your friends about joining small Christian Community Connection.  You may copy the membership form, bring it to your next gathering, and encourage people to join.  If you have questions, or want help with this, please email us or give us a call.

We will continue to provide these popular services to all members:

• Six issues of Connect (formerly Buena Vista Ink) covering topics pertinent to Small Christian Communities.
• Six issues of Resource Page, with reviews of the latest materials published for small Christian communities, which can be paired with the annual January Resource Page Index to create a SCC Resource Book.
• Reproducible Resource pages: ready-to-copy resources for use in your group.
• A member discount on registration for the SCC Connection national convocation and other events.
